They asked the Lelover Rebbe to be their new rebbe. After the second generation the Lelover Rebbe did not want to intervene in politics, and withdrew as their rebbe. The chasidim then appointed Rabbi Aharon Rosenfeld, a Stoliner Chasid himself, as their rebbe.
